How reliable is this rumor. I was laid off in 2016, but I heard this today from one of my friends. I was in HR.

My first HR manager was always making the rounds. He was quirky but easy to get along with. His replacement literally called herself a princess, bragged about how many piercings she had (over half were not visible at work), and I only saw her when she was coming to pick up her personal packages that she had shipped to the store.
My HR rep is so lazy, it's nuts - you cannot get anything from her - whatever you ask the answer is NO
Every HR I worked with was just downright lazy..hiding in their office. If an employee had a question they were told to ask a supervisot
They can let go of the one at the store I work at, she doesn't do anything except take frequent smoke breaks in her car, wave at the computers and say "it's online" when you ask a question, and goes to Walmart to buy plastic-ware for the infrequent celebrations. The previous HR manager would be on a register if needed.
