I am thinking about going on LT disability until all the WFR sh...t settles. Anybody knows for how long DXC will cover it with 100% pay?

There are many legitimate disability claims that are underutilized-for example stress and mental wellbeing. The stigma against these claims is very strong in western culture specifically American culture where the myth of self reliance lives on.
If you do not actually have a disability it's insurance fraud. Your LTD payout depends upon which LTD plan you purchased.
Why don't you hide in the cupboard, they will never find you there :-)
No such thing as 100% disability pay in US.
If you were told so, you were misinformed. 60% is max.
different company, different time, but when my husband went on LTD, he collects until he's 65. Caution: employer disability forced him to apply for Social Security disability. there are 4 chances to apply to soc sec, and the last one requires a lawyer. Rationale: if you get approved, the employer disability is reduced so your total is still 60%. If you go thru all 4 phases and do not get approved, no harm done and disability is intact. also know, after 12 months of LTD, you will probably be terminated anyway, the law allows them to do this. Proceed with caution, but LTD/social security is better than nothing.
Last time I checked LTD was ~60%. So don't count on it as a full time replacement. Better get a real job while you can.
