Such big companies and their bosses go down totally rather rarely. The same will be with with Sabre and all this CEO, VPs etc.
They have GDS to sleep peacefully and the only one part paying for bad business decisions will be workforce in the bottom: developers, testers, supervisors, project managers etc.
So update your CV and start looking for other job. Don't cry. Don't worry about Sabre. Worry only about yourselves and your future.
And make a big step over the Sabre as you usually do when meeting the dog's sh*t laying on the pavement.
