Rumors of another RIF will happen in June. Anyone else hearing the same thing?

Headcount magically comes when it suits a hiring manager. Know someone who worked for XO and the June RIF consisted of finishing off their Finance folk...some of those poor people have to endure purgatory thru October. The next 2,100 will be Yahoo rumor has it.
Unsubstantiated report there will be no net head count increase due to XO acquisition and that 'event' is to occur in June. Seen some retirement announcements at VP/SVP level too, so a(nother) reorganization not out of the question 🤔
Reorganizing in W PA......out with the old, on with the new.
Ran other Qtr of weak earnings needs to be bolstered somehow and history has shown rif's are simply one of many ways to make numbers look slightly better..... just BAU around here.
