Rumor mill is stating Walmart is not done with the layoffs.... Thousands more layoffs to come for HO Bentonville. I suppose time will tell. May be time to think about going elsewhere.

They're probably trying to let attrition do as much work as possible so that they don't have to fire as many next time.
Is there a hiring freeze in real estate and store planning right now. Advertised positions haven't been filled for a couple of months now?

Yes. All signs point to this not being over with. As they change stuff, the layoffs will continue as they don't need those people any longer.
