Puerto Rico had requested the US Congress several months ago for "permission" to file for bankruptcy. It received a decisive "no" answer. That was the correct move on Congress' part. These damn Puerto Ricans want to skate on their debts with the blessing of the American taxpayer, yet time after time the Puerto Ricans were given an opportunity by vote to join the Republic as the 51st State, they have declined every time. What slugs. Screw them now.
Thought Puerto Rico was in bankruptcy
I went to San Juan once. I won't go back. Too many Puerto Rican's there.
