My coach informed us she is getting help from another coach. Someone who is a floater helping teams. Here it comes more micro management. Anyone knows anything about this?

I had a COM for abit that was not even a nurse (or a social worker).... this person did have a degree in health care administration but how can you lead people in a process if you don't know what the process is? Foolishness. Management 101... walk the process.
However the coaches I know have been in that position for awhile......back when things were a little more sane. I do feel my coach is out of touch and a bit unrealistic. She does not understand CGX and how time consuming it is: or what it is like to manage 240 members. Most were HCM's with a 180 roster and no matrix.
Upper leadership should make calls. From what I understand, coaches were all promoted into those roles after first working in HCM positions. They should know the call process and understand what we go through. I don't know about COMs. One COM who was laid off was first an HCM, then a coach, then promoted to a COM from a coach. I know of another COM who was not in care management prior to her promotion. Some leaders may have no clue about the HCM process
Can you imagine MF on a call? "What's that you say? You're stressed out? Perhaps you are bringing that upon yourself. You say you have questions? Sorry, we are out of time."
Hey....maybe that coach should make calls. it would increase contacts
Not heard anything about this
What department are you in? Maybe a displaced coach from the last round of cuts that they are trying to place?
No I have never heard of that. Are the evaluating your coach?
I had not heard anything about tag team coaching, but the only thing my team ever gets updates on is how lucky we are to be at Humana. I get more info from this site, frankly, then the company.
