I was told today by my manager that they are starting to require more coachings - which I'm sure you're all aware are marked as achieved or not achieved. PIPS will be put into place to help guide you out the door. Our managers are trying to be fair but it seems they are being asked to focus mostly on the negative. We have a great crew, A level store, high traffic. I've been nervous with all the chaos going on.
OP , if you don't think they are going to PIP folks out the door, hence no severance package, just termination, you have had way too much of the koolaid.
Read down a few posts about SS being pipped, what mgmt is doing and not doing for their teams. ( Though it's common knowledge that some managers "DO" their teams.)
OP you can stick your head back in the sand again..... Rif is way of life around here and been that way for last 4 years (or longe) is just isn't going to get any better.
The SS position WILL NOT go on forever. However, I'm sticking to my original point. There will be no REP layoffs in the coming months. I was simply responding to a post stating they heard a rumor about June and July Rep layoffs.
No one is stupid/Dumb...... The Sales Rep position will eventually go. Stores will eventually close. No one should expect to retire as a Verizon Wireless Soultion's Specialist. Calm down. That isn't my point.

Yes. Paying a retail clerk $50,000-$100,000 a year is a solid business practice that will continue forever!

You're stupid. Reps will be piped out and stores will continue to close resulting in layoffs. Now get back to work slamming those worthless HUMS, ripping off people with over priced accessories and ramming stupid tablets down everyone's throat.
Going into a Verizon store is about as pleasant as walking into a shady used car lot. Keep up the good work!
