Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

TS gone??

Has anyone else been told by their coach not to ask about TS being axed? Why is it top secret information? It only solidifies theat nothing said ny management can be trusted. So much for job security and transparency.

To the HCM RN, you are not inefficient, our rosters were designed well before we started TRYING to manage 240 members. You are helping your members one at a time and some require much more than a 10 or 15 minute conversation. All the best practices in the world will not change that fact. Management is using that "term" to hold it over our heads that we are inefficient and just aren't able to "manage our rosters." If you aren't getting any support from your coach, he or she is fearful of losing their jobs. You are not alone! Hope you get done with catch up work soon. Happy Mother's Day and let's all try to enjoy this day off.

TS had nothing to do lowering metrics. The exodus of HCM RNs, and the negative comments about the work expectations is what got him the boot. MF's fall guy. TS should have seen it coming. Maybe he did but it was too late. TS needed to realize a long time ago that the Teams he was managing were comprised of a civilian work force, not the military. In the military, you give orders and they are obeyed. TS thought it worked that way at Humana.

I am HCM RN and cannot get my work done in under 45 hours/week. I usually work around 50. My coach says that I just do not manage my time well. Of course my coach says that without really looking into how I spend my work time.....it is just an easy response. But I have been here over 6 years and feel I cannot do any better with the roster of 240 members. And throughout day I get questions from newer HCM's on team because I do have more experience and the coach has no idea how to do some of the things. Just wondering......am I inefficient or is everyone else working that much too? And here it is Mother's Day W/E and I have documentation I have to catch up on.

TS only lowered metric to what it was supposed to be. He was called out by another director for how high his teams were. It was never to go above 8.7! He was vying for MF's job!

The AUX codes are not going away. They want to know how we RNs spend our work days. Encouraged to take breaks, lunch, and well being time but we all know that can mean working late instead. This is a no win salaried position. Give TS some credit, at least our metrics were lowered while he was at Humana. It is hard to remain positive when people are getting let go each week.

Well TS was obsessed with auxing in and out. I hope in his new position in another company he can be satisfied with the performance of the workers. He just pushed and pushed and pushed us. My position is HCM RN and we are not hourly employees we are salaried. I wish we were hourly . I work overtime every week

I didn't read anything about a conspiracy and completely understand that they would not be able to give details if he was fired. I do think it should of been addressed as opposed to pretending it didn't happen. Management did not want to address it after we were encouraged to ask questions and they were supposed to be transparent.

If you were fired you wouldn't expect the company to tell everyone why. There has to be legal reasons or just good old fashioned confidentiality which prevents them from telling us. In the meantime you carry on with your conspiracy theory's. It gives us all a laugh.

From what I understand, many HCMs have left and TS and his policies were blamed. I don't disagree with that at all. However, I think TS only did what MF encouraged. He should be next

Humana and HAH used to be decent place to work, then the little napoleon MF came and trying to compensate for his phisical deficiencies has led this program into his tyrant playground. This individual is nasty and despicable, he is only interested on his own glory and will trash anyone in his path. I believed in karma and soon or later he will also pay for that.

This was a surprise to all of the RN HAH care managers and coaches. Who knows what happened!

2 Directors in 2 months! Agree, MF needs to go. He's the real problem. Nothing truthful comes out of his mouth!
