Just headed home to Oregon from Isarel. The engineering team here is amazing, top tier engineers, they really work like a Zubin Mehta cincert, The RCG are from really good schools. I think if other over seas locations are of this caliber they are a good sign for innovation. I am dredging coming back to Oregon. The team here went out of the way to make me feel welcoomed, More than what I did for the Isarelis in Oregon.

Apple, Qualcomm and now Nvidia are active in Israel too.
I forgot to mention the Israel team coughed up Sandy Bridge too. Basically anything anything halfway decent came from Israel
Back when AMD was kicking Intel's Lilly A-- in the early 2000s it was up to the team in Israel to bail out Intel by coming up with the enhanced P3 architecture which became the Core/Core2 the company has been subsisting on to this day

Oregon isn't exactly known for great work ethics. It's the land of entitlement and pot, after all.
They were the best, most talented group of engineers I've had the pleasure to work with. I took VSP last year.
