so after they replaced half the board with corporate types from best buy and kohl's etc..and mentioned affinity rewards and some better customer service due to s.o.p...cramer,mackey's lil buddy on cnbc is still not buyin our stock..he doesn't like the metric of retail-comps..we have underwhelmed with comps for a while now.and since they went on a store building binge to appear as if they were a growing company,which only produce store to store cannibalization,we are left looking like the titanic taking on water and trying to decide who gets in the life rafts?? we all know the uppercrust will get golden parachutes ala walter robb but the tl's,who have been brown nosing their way up the ranks might be sh-- outta luck

Sloppy grammar in the original post but the basic idea is spot on. Rapid expansion and book tours were designed to cover up the fact that the operations were beyond clumsy and poorly coordinated. Now this thing is a far-flung, unsustainable pricey chain with questionable accounting and deteriorating growth and prospects all built on creaky technology and inept logistics. Cramer like many others for so many years was bamboozled by track lighting, pretty graphics and the tasty organic Kool-Aid. He knows the truth is not pretty and there is no way he is going to recommend that investors try to jump on a runaway downhill train.

TL is a ridiculous position at the moment. Onboarding and training for Day A is about 2 days of work that should be centralized. Labor cuts especially in Grocery have made customer service nonexistent.
We live in a digital age stop with all the clip boards and micro management BS. The trainings take hours and are put on store level labor. Honestly I see no point for TL's or ASTL's any more. New TM's get a clip board and a free slice of pizza with a copy of conscious capitalism. They should just change the name and go full speed with the 365 concept because WFM is dead. Go down fighting Mackey, after your book signing on how to eat more fiber.
lol the hate for TLs is pathetic. Don't you realize we're nobodies. We're little fish, just like you. We all come to work and do what we have to, then we clock out and go on with our lives. Just like everyone else.
