Ya this happened in New Mexico too. Last Monday 81 of us at Molina NM were told our last day is May 19th which is this coming Friday. This was because of money so the share holders can keep getting rich which is b---s---. A lot of the layoff recipients were past their first year of service for Molina. There is something called seniority which should allow for the company to protect their employees with most longevity over those who are still in their "probationary" phase!! There were employees who didn't lose their job who have only been employed a few months yet other who lost their job and have been with Molina for years. Its sad that a company who works for people who are struggling conducted poor business decisions that caused an employee layoff.
This leads to Molina providing poor care to its member who require the service its supposed to be providing by having to cut budget and chop employees!!
