Has anyone heard any rumors about the Virginia Demo Duals program and layoffs ? The contract expires 12/31/17 and staff was told that they would have jobs until then per the contract requirements. BUT they laid off everyone on the LTSS side last July despite their contract.

Please keep us informed about the region meeting tomorrow. I am not in your region...but we are all together.
I find this site as an excellent way for us to communicate and voice our opinions. Clearly we can't do this at work. The coaches and upper leadership hush us up or try to say positive when they know things are a mess. Trust me as soon as I can get out I'm done. The environment is toxic and the work life balance is awful. Tied to a chair and a head set all day legs aching ankles swoll cause you can't get off the phone.
I think the idea is to divide and conquer. That's why the peer average was used and coaches were sending daily reports. It doesn't work in their favor when we unite and try to keep Each other informed. That's why management hates this site. My coach has talked about it with disgust and refers to the information as rumors, but everything has been brought to fruition. I believe this site and not what management has to say or not say. My region has a meeting tomorrow about our Director's abrupt leaving/firing. Let's see what lies and dodging they'll do.
I don't even know what that program is....in reading this site I am starting to feel like they keep us all isolated so that no one really knows what is happening. ..... I know they don't want a mass exodus, it's a little disconcerting.
