Thread regarding Chicago Bridge & Iron Co. N.V. layoffs

Asherman. Out!

I thankfully left CB&I three years ago! I've had people contact me and ask me to hook them up with jobs recently. I think they saw writing on the wall that something like this was going to happen.

Shaw was making money prior to acquisition? I don't think so.

CB&I had no clue how to continue Shaw' success. The saw Shaw was making money, bought it, and then changed the business to follow the weak CB&I business model.

I don't think CB&I should have ever bought Shaw Group. They knew nothing about the F&M industry and drove us to the ground. Now they are closing plants and costing hundreds of people their jobs, many that worked at Shaw Group for 25+ years.
