Any stores out there experiencing dead silence? The Muzak has been shut off in my store for 3 weeks. Did we stop paying for the service?

You can check if it's the lack of a paid feed or a problem with the system. Go to a phone used for paging. Pretend you're paging someone. Turn on Pandora on your phone. Stick both your phone and the paging phone in a drawer together. If you don't have music, it's a component in the system. If you DO have music, well, YOU'VE GOT MUSIC.
My store is going on 7 weeks without it.
Operations has more control over the AC than the VPSM. It's just set so hit and fans set so low it can't keep up. Not streaming music in one store ? It's your system
VPSM do not have that control. When they do call Atlanta they simply say they have received complaints and are told the will check the temp zones. In the end the ac is not on until an hour before open, goes off an hour before close and its set around 77. stores are only cool when its no humidity and under 70 outside. Its never going to be very cool on the first floor. I have never been in a comfortable macys.
Its on in my district. Takes a few weeks to get a tech out for our sound system
Our music has been on as usual along with the other locations I visited in our district. I only wish they would sh-- it off! Same horrible songs playing all day. But it's prob a system issue. Now getting it fixed is a whole different story! Lol
Absolutely not a part in the system. It was deemed a cost the store didn't need to pay for any longer. Sort of like our VPSM ordering the AC to be kept off until 11 AM and shut off at 7 PM to "save money".
Writing on the wall. This is worse than stated. And the lemmings in the world can't see it yet.
It's probably just a part that has gone bad in the sound system.
