With the company reorganization and new CEO, expect 1000 more layoffs to occur in the near future.

Its all about overhead and revenue per employee. If you've got 50 people but your overhead is more than the revenue you're bringing in then guess what?? Gotta lay off people until you reverse that trend. At this point in time the people being let go are very good workers who have survived the multiple rounds of layoffs since they started in 2014.
Yes it has come to be a very cost sensitive operation now. We have to reduce cost and save where we can. This means contact workers and reducing labor cost. Over the years we have documented the process where we are now in position to hire younger and cheaper labor. If you make over 20.00 be worried new labor coming in less than that.
Hiring to replace current employees at a lower pay scale. Train your replacement is the new reduction plan. I am safe where I am but see this with other employees.
WFT careers on the company website says there hiring so why would they be laying off ??
They got rid of some inventory guys in the Permian and Oklahoma.
