Replace current employees

Hiring to replace current employees at a lower pay scale. Train your replacement is the new reduction plan. I am safe where I am but see this with other employees.

I know they have hired some sales reps with 4 year degrees. OMG these guys don't know sh-- about their product line and the oil patch. It's so embarrassing !

Houma mfg doing that now. But with the crop of low lifes they are bringing in now i do not see this company pulling out of the slump we are in. Ever!!!!

The norm for SLB is to offer packages or purge older non on the management track types if they are over 40. Watch out if you have ex SLB types with authority.

Greedy companies have been doing this year's. Two tier pay structures, early retirement and employee buyouts. Companies do whatever they can in today's market to screw their employees.
