Unlimited is popular and the tethering limit is similar to other carriers. There's a real cost when people start using more data. Limits prevent the network from getting completely congested.

Project Fi charges $0 for a tablet line. That makes the most sense...

1kbo, hope site admins see it as a joke too, as impersonating others is not allowed here. Would hate to see a good thread get nuked.

I dont understand the logic in charging $20 for a mifi line and getting only 10gb all while charging the same $20 for a tablet line and getting 22gb. It makes no sense

Lol. In rural areas where Verizon has coverage but traditional internet providers do not service, we absolutely have promoted Mifis and Homefusion (Lte Internet) as the primary means of internet. Why else would anyone allow an antenna to be installed on their home?

For us to slow to speeds that are unusable after 10GB is horrible. It makes no sense that I can on our new unlimited plan, turn on the hotspot setting on my phone and have unlimited data - yet on an installed Lte Internet get shut down after 10. Wheres the logic?

the last time Vz sold "unmlilited" it stated in the terms of service that the customer agrees to not use their unlimited service as their sole means to access internet at home. Capping or throttling is just a means to enforce what the customer agreed to.

I'm a GM who personally uses a Mifi for my home internet. It is a joke, considering my mobile hotspot on the unlimited plan is unlimited, but my Mifi on the unlimited slows to unusable speeds after 10GB.

That actually hurts sells. Think about it.
