The total for the current calendar year stay at 3,800. No reported layoffs this past week, which if anything should be a sign of concern - tells me oracle is now focused on the 6-1 layoff and can't be bothered to make smaller layoffs right now. Get ready for the big one

Second round of layoffs hit on Monday in Krakow & Katowice. This is the end of systems and Solaris support in Poland.
Maybe you didn't got the news but i have seen several emails from Polish engineers saying goodbye as it was their last day.
Seems now they are searching engineers in Jassy, can it get any worse

As you might have noticed, oracle - in contrast to all other public companies - has a policy of surprising employees with layoffs, so of course you would not have seen it discussed anywhere else.
Where are you getting the information on the "Big" layoff? This is the only place I see anything at all being said about that. Any other reference you can point too?
