Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

How are the retail location doing?

Is there pressure in the store? Do reps still do those comparison charts between 2 year and dpp with a bundle and pull through included to deceive the customer? Whats the atmosphere like?

Yupp and also back then we had to fax our edge vs 2year price breakdown sheets to the DM every shift . It was truly rediculious . Just like what vzw is now . Smh

None of this would ever happen if wireless waa protected like landline

Ard $100 ha ha i remember back in 2013 that was the goal in W B V. Back when we were locked out of the inventory room. "Earn the right lockdown "

We couldn't get a phone until a manager question us to death ... it was physically locked with a key (not badge) ..

Standing around most days. New sales teach/sale thing is a joke... You want me to ask permission to show a customer a product. Really?

I've been told that reps are being told that if people want to be moved to unlimited they have to have a Hum, jet pack or tablet added.

It's pretty bad most have req over $100 in ard per device, TMP at over 50% Strategic Products at over 50% and data step up at a 2.0. Not to mention our quota increasing every month

It's pretty bad. They want ARD over $100 per device sold. The metrics call for it too. GG's, ARD, Step up, TMP. if those metrics are low, your done

Lol. In the 5 years I've been with the company across 4 stores, 3 districts, 3 territories, and 2 markets, I have never seen a manager openly encourage employees to do unethical things. Many have "looked the other way", but never openly encouraged unethical behavior.
