I can now certainly understand why when they moved to the old mall in Wilkes they felt they needed to "fortify the perimeter!" When I retired a few years ago you couldn't get in without a badge unless you went through the main gate and visitors lobby. At that time they had just begun to put up the fence that's there now. All that's missing is the concertina "razor" wire at the top of the fence! Not only do they have the outside perimeter fence but you can't just walk in the door. You scan your badge to get the door to open. As if that isn't bad enough they have an area at each door that you must again scan your badge for entry. This area is also surrounded by Plexiglas (may even be bullet proof?) that opens to allow only one person in at a time. Paranoid a little - you think???? I think perhaps they were preparing for their mass cuts so they wouldn't have to worry so much about ex-employees "going postal" on them. Who knows, by now there may be even more security! Is this a corporate office or a prison? IDK, just an observation.

After last QRT no wonder they are getting rid of salary. We lose ground to Depot worse then before. HD had a Store to Store increase of 4.6% Ours was a horrible 1.9%. We are losing more customers to them and it's going to get worse when people can't get quality help since Lowe's kicked them out calling them worthless.
The last layoff in February was disgusting.
I never experienced such brutal treatment of humans that were loyal to lowes for many years.
Niblock and Board should be ashamed of what they did and are doing.
