Over the past year Cisco has managed to rid itself of a lot of good folk by making their jobs so miserable or underpaid they left for the competition. Nothing new there, it happens in every industry.
The difference is that Cisco hasn't been backfilling at all. Look around you at your team. How much new work are you expected to pick up now? If you think things are bad and morale is low today, imagine how it will be with more people gone and triple your workload.
If the payoff is good in your country you might want to hope you get hit this time. It's a bright world with lots of green grass outside Cisco.
