Node numbers aside, TSMC 7nm is about the same as Intel 10nm, so long for Intel leadership I silicon. Intel keeps talking three year leadership, all gone TMG!
TSMC factories and volume tower over Intel. Missing mobile and continue failure to succeed there is their downfall as manufacturing leadership and power has been passed to Samsung and TSMC. The tipping point has been passed!
I am selling 3nm microprocessors on my website. Ok, they are just old 80486 processors, but I call them 3nm processors anyway, because as TSMC proves again and again, you can call your process whatever you want, and nobody can sue you for false advertising - and people like OP will even believe it.
