Is there any truth to this rumor that managers were telling people today whether they are safe or not?

I received a call from my "new" boss telling me I am safe. Meeting with new team today. Best of luck to everyone.
The morning meeting with boss and boss's boss scheduled the day before is the tell. Prepare to say goodbye.
I'm also in pre-sales (not PaaS, though). I also received an invite for a 1-1 meeting with my boss tomorrow. Seems like the knife will be swift -- if you haven't seen a 1-1 invite for June 1, you're probably safe. I'll post another update if I'm not laid off tomorrow, but this can't be good news.

I just got invited to a meeting with my boss and my boss's boss tomorrow morning, half-hour, just the three of us.
Think about this - if this was THE approach, and if this leaked, your approach would be hosed

Thanks for the comment. My team just received an email saying "whatever happens in your career tomorrow, good luck in FY18!"... boy is that cryptic
I wasn't told in so many words, but it was emphasized quite clearly that I was lucky to be on the team I currently am on. We shall see in the next little while whether I have correctly read between the lines or not...
