Okay so I had plenty of time to take action for the last 6 months and I was too lazy to do anything about it. I SHOULD-A been taking massive action to get our sooner. Even as a senior person, I could have re-tooled in preparation ALTHOUGH hr did lie continuously since the beginning of the year in my case. Anyone getting the Age Book listing roles, groups and ages of those who stayed and those who got RIF'ed? to try to prove this was not Age Discrimination?

I am scanning in the Age Book and using Azure I see that their very own Age Book actually verifies Age Discrimination. Can that be true? That stupid? Individually I can't pursue this further but it's incredible....if I didn't make a mistake
I was laid off this morning. I've been worried since they stopped paying OT in Q2. I've been casually looking since then. I think they cut based on salaries and manager rankings. I was newest on my team. My boss is gone too.
@NzCw9m7-xzq - When Oracle does a RIF they provide to those who were let go a list of all the "people" (no names) that were impacted. This list includes the roles, titles and ages of the people RIF'd. They're required to provide the information in an effort to show there was no discrimination at play.
What is the "Age Book listing roles" you are talking about?? never heard of it.

What area did you get laid off in? I haven't heard much of anything in Minneapolis. I know the Minneapolis Oracle Consulting Manager's position was eliminated and some of the consulting reps in Mpls were divided up into onpremise and now also cloud. We're having our team meeting now. But our individual sales team in Minneapolis in onpremise is still intact. I don't know about other onpremise teams in Minneapolis. We're Oracle Digital.
Whole lot of apathy and entitlement going around, wasn't recognized until the layoffs began. OP, Oracle isn't the only tech company doing massive layoffs, not by far. Check other boards, all major tech co.'s are getting rid of loads of people.
