I just got a call from management. The layoffs are happening in North America Sales today. I'm being laid off after 14 years of service.

99% of the Fake News on this site are the trolls mocking everyone who drops a tip or leaks info about layoffs. Those trolls are just terrified and lashing out at the messenger, as if that will help.
Don't feed the trolls, ignore them.
Analysts aren't allowed to ask those type of questions or they will get blacklisted by investor relations on future calls.
Customers hate the robocallers dialing for dollars. To them Oracle is a four letter word.
I hope the industry analysts ask about the layoffs on the upcoming earnings call.
It shows really what they think of their employees and customers as they replace seasoned professionals with inexperienced new hires. I've spoken to a couple of them and they completely clueless and I won't let them near my accounts as they'll destroy the relationships I've spent time building. The class of program has failed for years and that's fine; some ideas fail and that's how you learn. Don't double down on your mistake by pushing them from BDC to dealing to CSM with C suite access on a daily basis

Got my papers today. Apparently they let go roughly 60 people in Customer Success - Cloud in North America. Getting replaced by kids. Definitely not fake news.

HR will tell you that as part of your severance you can't talk about being laid off including posting here. They are fearful news will get out and will label anything that does as Fake News. They've taken a page out of POTUS DJT handbook for communicating with the press.
