Absolutely true. HBH care managers got axe while Tricare is mass hiring!! H@H will be managing former HBHmemvers.
The layoff has nothing to do with the email, though they could've easily transitioned those laid off into whatever behavioral health goal they are looking to create of move towards. The timing of the two things was very insensitive
This must relate to the recent survey for HAH and our experience with BH. I'm sorry for the people who were laid off. This means more work for the rest of us, and they just keep putting more on our plates. It's rediculous.
Reimbursement for behavioral and in home services generally speaking, is not very good. When MF said after the merger failed that these would areas of expansion for Humana under "plan B", that seemed concerning. We aren't ever going to know what is happening in real time, but if this is true it is worrisome.
I have heard that 47 care managers were let go from behavioral health yesterday. Apparently the return on investment for the program was not enough to justify keeping it. I'm not sure what licensure they had, but know that most if not all of them were licensed in varying fields
I was told it wasn't behavior health, it was another area that is being absorbed by a different one, so maybe it was pharmacy
Theres no date even discussed to enroll more members in the joined hccp and stay healthy program. Feel they are using current PHC to kill time till the program is re-alligned to licensed staff. Crcm members and other members that dont meet new cba scores are all being d/c from program by 7/7.... But no more enrollment? Anyone else been told similar info?
OP are you sure about this? Irving has a mail order pharmacy office, but you're saying Behavioral Health?
I thought Behavioral was expanding!?
So were the jobs in the behavioral health program that were eliminated for registered nurses, personal health coaches, medical social workers ?
I hear these were in the Behavioral Health arena
What roles were cut. 😒
47 is a very specific number...it this post coming from management or how do we know? And why would they lay people off when they are hiring for the new Tricare contract?? Makes no sense. Any other departments affected?
So sorry about this
Godspeed
So sorry! They told us no more planned layoffs 2017. Wtf
