Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Macy's Non-Layoff related pressing issues

Aside from rampant store closures and to be honest a very confusing strategy on how we'll survive the retail slump we should worry about much more pressing issues - we are simply over worked while receiving low pay.... Dealing with an extremely incompetent and lazy HR manager (she likes to read this site, so there you have it), we have no job security....

The corporate could care less about stores, employees... Rises??? Aren't in full effect once promoted had to wait 6 months with no back pay, why wait SIX MONTHS!!!!

The employees work very hard - as such, we should be recognized, compensated and rewarded acordingly - but now - all money goes to the execs - tens of millions per year - how's that fair?

And for my management - I have a simple message here - get a new HR manager that actually cares about how hard our fellow Macy's employees toil...

Sorry about the rant - this was the only place where a few folks can hear me and it's safe to talk (I cannot say this in my store as I'd be fired in a snap)...

WELL IF THEY WOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN OLD TL 7.5 MILLION AND SACHE 7 MILLION ON THEIR WAY OUT THE DOOR, THEY COULD HAVE SAVED JOBS !!! BUT NO MACY'S HAS TO GIVE MILLIONAIRES MORE MILLIONS AND SCREW PEOPLE WHO HAVE BUSTED THEIR BUTT FOR THEM !!!
