Department CS Specialists are being scored on all metrics to determine who will retain their positions. Departments with more than one Specialist will be reduced to one, with some departments being reduced to none on a store-by-store basis. Early reports indicate long-term Specialists are being offered severance packages. Specialists with less than 5 years of service do not appear to have much in the way of options being offered.

Customer Service Specialist. They are the "experts" in the department. Usually working in the field before coming to work at Lowe's. Many are probably regretting the decision to do so.
