I can believe all of the purposed cuts. I've been with Lowes 16 years and it's happened time and time again. I will say this go round is the most severe that I've ever seen though. Pre Niblock cuts at least had a small sense of care and compassion. This new Niblock regime doesn't care about anything but the mighty millions in bonuses. It's sad what they have done to a once great company.
I did want to put out there that I just observed a visiting ex-HRM (moved and stepped down) say to a week-end team member. "I'm sorry you are getting cut too. She said she still gets HR emails and couldn't believe they were cutting the weekday and weekend team programs. She had no idea it hadn't come down yet.
This was the first I heard of the Wee team getting cut. Pretty soon they are going to have one associate cover 1zone by themselves!! Just like the orange box!!
