I have worked as Technical Engineer in consulting services and picked up a lot of new skills while working at Oracle. It is sad that Oracle did not envision about Cloud services and they are late in the game. I have worked on multiple on-premise Oracle Fusion Middleware products and none of them finished on time and within the specified budget. Some of the projects are dragged for years and a frustrated lot of customers.
It is obviously averted a lot of customers to move into cloud area. If Oracle does not strengthen foothold in Cloud area then will be another dinosaur in making.
As per my next move, I have couple offers in hand and need to pick the best one. I will be making the double salary for next couple months.
