Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Lowe's needs to implement changes that make sense

Tenured salary employees 10 yrs +....should be singing "🎶Let Us Go🎶" with a servance package....OR contact those to ask if they would be willing....

-here is a thought; since stores have more "non-selling" positions and wig the most help during daytime.....change store hours to banker hours! Ghost salesfloor associates after 5pm. Less hours for utilities & payroll, better work/life balance for all, it also would affect the call centers, help desk too. You know, people's health maybe better. Routine for sleep, eat, family time...oh gosh, I'm dreaming!

Someone also mentioned, stupid price changes, maybe set a price and LEAVE IT. Credit signage, promos for holidays, otherwise it's 5% everyday. We have so many "different" promos, we can't keep up. Remove all the extra reg/money that we don't use due to coverage. Why run "ads" if we have "every day low price", Black Friday/Holiday is the same product year after year (evolve there!) Stop "employee appreciation meals" that comes from the stores bottom line (impacts SSEI)..if you did appreciate US, GIVE US HOURS- payroll is people to help customers, a paycheck for employees to provide for themselves & family. THINK ABOUT INSIDE THE BOX!

Niblock and vp's are very comfortable in their bullet proof glass wall offices with the A/C cranked up for the few hours they show up

AC would be very nice, then employees would not almost pass out on the floor waiting on Customers. Thank You.

When I started for Lowes some 12 years ago I was told the most important customer is your employees- not anymore corp rolls out the red rug to customers - come in and abuse the hell out of our employees then we will give you a deep discount ....

A/C is set for customers to be just comfortable not for employees. They throw water bottles at the employees. Not because they care. It's because they don't want lawsuits. They have the center of excellence not because they care but they know you'll win any body damage injury. Lowe's doesn't do anything for "YOU" only to protect their wallet. Notice how they do nothing to shoplifters??? Not because they don't want to stop them but if you try and get hurt guess what?? Lowe's is responsible. Lowe's only cares about $$$ which is the lesser payout they will lean towards. When you accept that you'll feel better knowing what you are dealing with ..

How about having the merchandise you advertise ? Hold customers responsible for their choice of purchase. Stop the compensation hemorrhaging . Treat your employees the are left like human beings. TURN ON THE GODDAMN AC!!!! ..and the list goes on and on. A doomed business plan, better look at what the hell the greedy corporate officers are doing, It's almost too late. This is NOT the company it once was.
