I cant tell where most of you all are from or which offices you worked at, but one of the happiest days of my life was the day I left Allstate. We were always just numbers to them. Yes they did 'recognition' but you had to be a favorite and a kiss *** . Making customers happy got you nowhere in their eyes. Sorry for those losing jobs but Allstate is getting what they deserve

They are laying off people to save money not because the company is in any kind of financial distress. Shareholders and upper management are making a killing right now. Life goes on though for the rest of us, good luck to everyone in finding better opportunities outside Allstate. Which is isn't that hard to do.
