Their is a lot of talk about positions being laid off or demoted, and their are also people that claim that it has happen to their store already. If there is any truth to any of this, POST YOUR STORE LOCATION OR STORE NUMBER!!!!! If you cant prove or back up what you are saying is true PLEASE SHUT UP!!!

The restructuring that Lowes is going through is leaving it's remaining employees stretched thin. We're overwhelmed and overworked. At my store the SSM's are idiots. The store manager can't manage his way out of a paper bag. Good luck Lowes...you're going to need it!
We are supposed to have a big meeting with all the specialists tomorrow to straighten out rumors, so I will see how this goes.
Well, here is proof it has happened. It's called a test market/area. Will it happen on a mass scale? Who knows. Has it been yet another test lowes is doing? Yes. In the long run though. What is the point of a specialist when you can task a csa to sell. Once it becomes culture it will work.

Oh, right. You want me to post my store number and who's be let go or demoted already? Are you crazy? We already get retaliation for just about everything we say or do. I'm not putting myself or anyone else in my store in jeapardy because your head is up your a--.
All are not rumors...already happening at my store. Some specialist (3 of them ) left our store mad and 2 delivery drivers plus 1 ASM. So believe what you want.......... its coming and very very soon !
They won't be laid off until it's official. So nothing will happen now. Corporate won't say anything official. Why would they?? What we do know is people have no loyalty to Lowe's so these rumors come out faster cause people want to screw the company over.
They tried on a call with us 2 weeks ago, only saying they couldn't say that it's not happening and that Lowe's is committed to change blah, blah, blah.
it is a very stressful enviotment at all the stores im sure no one knows what to believe its a 50/50 situation
I agree. Lowes employee. Show me the proof. But Lowes should shut this down themselves as I am sure they are aware of this rumor. So why don't they?????
