Rumor has it in the Northeast, former MCI / XO techs will be merged / mapped into regular VZT positions.
Hearing sometime soon, anyone care to comment?

MCI Associates NEVER had a VOTE to join the Union. In 2006 after Verizon acquired MCI, a grievance was made by the Union that MCI Techs did similar work for enterprise customers, As a result MCI Techs in the Northeast were added in the 2008 Verizon CBA and all grievances were withdrawn prior to the Arbitrator's making their decision,
Why would one fiber do that?
We are cheapr, better, and know how to get things done.
With one fiber we won't need them anyway. Bon Voyage.
Majority of MCI/VZB are union.
The MCI managers are all liars and thieves anyway, reduce the headcount blend them in with the existing UNION workforce and call it a day.
Failure is still cheaper than an EISP.
Didn't they already try that with the MCI techs? Wasn't it a huge failure? Which is exactly why they would try it again!
