Does that mean there wont be layoffs this year? If Arista can't sell in the USA, Cisco will be making a tones of dough selling switches. Logic makes sense?

Cisco has to ban everyone else (Nokia, Juniper, etc) for not to have the next LR. Even Cisco can manage to do that, this does not mean you get to keep your job unless you are a friend or family member of a VP or Director.

Arista will work around this current ruling by manufacturing in the US for the US until final resolution. This will hit their profit margin but they'll continue to eat Cisco's lunch in DC switching. You can see the announcement had minimum effect on the respective stock prices today
