I agree Lowes has the worst management I've ever seen!
Employees walk in with food, clock in, then sit in the break room and eat for a half hour or more. How does this go unnoticed? Hard working employees get pushed harder, while lazy unmotivated people get a pat on the back?
People taking numerous breaks, hiding, I've even seen sleeping in the handicap toilet. Nobody cares in management or they are too stupid to notice.
Its sad you have such poor upper management. Our store is not the crown jewel actually far from it. But we have respect for our management as they respect us. However I have been to other stores and can understand your frustrations.
What management? Oh those idiot store managers that just wanna tell their employees how worthless they are?
You must work in my store! Aside from sleeping in the toilet I've seen everything you describe at my store too! Do you have employees that hide at when the store closes and suddenly re-appear when it's time to leave?
Why would they care??? Upper management has already said we are worthless unwanted employees. I am glad so many using them.
Trust me I understand. I walked into Lowes in El Paso. The store was filthy. It was obvious there was no standards. It starts at the top. No Manager presence! Employees not acknowledging customers. Cashier complaining ,she was tired. Her shift started at 6:00am, it was only 10:00am. Unbelievable, but the company continues to make cuts. They brag about being a Fortune top 40 company. Sure you are. Yup, the leadership needs to be reevaluated. Time to look at the mirror Mr. Niblock.
