So with all of us not doing any detail receiving on fresh deliveries what kind of bonus and raises are the fresh DC's getting? They are not getting any claims on o/s just poor quality so without the audit team and detail rec. our f/c inventory is jacked up. And to think they get a quarterly bonus, and 10% off at Walmart and Sam's associates just get screwed more ways than one! I thought we all worked for the same company because my check says Walmart but apparently not!!!!

My weekly audits in produce are off $1000 each week, sometimes more! So much for making profit every month! Then I get questioned by my GM why? Ummmm maybe because I don’t check in my trucks so have no clue if everything shows up, we have self check out and I’m sure not everything gets rung up and not allowed to check receipts at the door for more than 1 second...
Fresh bonus are based strictly on sales. All shrink, which includes all receiving over/short/damages are now with the club numbers. All they care about is meeting their sales expectations. They have no idea how to actually do any complete audits in their areas, this includes the fresh manager as well. It was the audit team who always did this for them. Their team leads are clueless, everyone else just follows. They have no controls on throwaways and donations. I think a lot of fresh managers will soon be losing their jobs if sales aren't met, this includes club gm. My club isn't quite there yet in sales, but maybe with the holidays ahead they might catch a break. I sure hope so.
