Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Second wave size

Do we have any concrete info on how many is Molina planning to let go in the second wave? I have been looking around, and from piecing together bits of info from several threads, it does not look good - it looks like it will be even worse that the first wave. Hopefully I am wrong...

2nd wave... more like aftershocks... lay offs are continuous and they are strategic.

Truth is some people have been provided a floating device and reassign to a different role... for now.

If you get a call / jabber / 1:1 meeting on your outlook... be prepared to be provided your little black bag to take your belongings.

It makes my stomach sick to know thay the big one is coming and we can't do anything. We don't know who or when... it's a list that's receives and we have 24hrs to complete it... we lost 60% of our HR Dept... I'm estimating 10% more after we all get evaluated and they finalize the new org chat. Aka new assignment, lower the cost, lay off.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL at Molina, the Tsunami is coming... way before September... 30 days

He clearly said it in the e-mail yesterday: select "click here"

He has only achieved 55 million of $200 million staff reduction goal. $145 million worth of salaries to go. You do the math on how many employees it will be...........

What about all the employees at the clinics that will be let go October 1? Aren't they counted in the head count?

Shouldnt be that many. It was about 1400 total first and second wace. They probably laid off around 300 to 400 ppl in the first round

I feel like riding this wave is equivalent in size to the height of a skyscraper and as long as the state of CA. This nedds to be over already. This is ridiculous. Bad thing is I cant surf lol

A 10% RIF (reduction in force) across the board is the target goal. The second wave is expected to be larger than the first wave since it will impact medical clinics, frontline and operations management/staff, ancillary departments...etc.
