Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

What happens if we survive layoffs?

Call me stupid, but what happens if we survive these lay offs and then the sell the company? Severence? Unemployment? Buy out? Need to be prepared.

Far from stupid question, @OAwzqkj-cxj, I was wondering the same thing. What comes next for those who are not affected by this round of Molina's layoffs?

If you are not immediately effected, you will have the enjoyment of working in a horrible working environment until all the layoffs are completed , which will nevertheless not completely stop even after the massive waves and the company is sold off. Then there will be another round of transition, relocation, and relearning the jobs for those who actually do make it through this or don't leave on their own.

The writing is on the wall, this ship is sinking fast. If we survive the layoffs, there's still this enterprise wide "re-org" and restructuring, which includes moving as some locations and offices are closing, including consolidating LB offices. After that if/when MOH is sold expect more changes, layoffs etc. thru end of year. I wish us all the best.

Whether you survive or not, start planning to leave right now... I don't see a future here...
