Tick Tock Tick Tock.
Layoff time approaching.
"Unless Intel starts releasing 10-nanometer x86 processors and/or notably reducing prices of its Core i-Series processors, AMD has a realistic chance to replicate its Q1 2006’s 48.40% share of desktop"
We all know where 10nm Intel is
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@jg1 - I agree. There are fundamental issues that I do not think will ever get fixed. It will take years for it all to play out.
That's good news for TheLayoff.com, who should figure out an advertising revenue model in the meantime.
We're a patient bunch, my friend. $60B companies take time to implode.
In simple, bullet form, we've seen:
Tick-tock completely and utterly fall apart with 10nm (which is two years late, and STILL not working)
No new architecture changes in CCG, and limited in DCG
Abandonment of innumerable products and initiatives (particularly where ARM was already present)
First real competition in 10 years from AMD and to a lesser extent, NVIDIA
These four issues are what this board have been pointing out. Combined, they will put pressure on margins and earnings. It's been a good run, I would agree, but it fundamentally hasn't moved INTC stock (which is most important to ALL of us) past the 36-38 ceiling.
INTC's best days are over. A slow, inexorable slide commences.
I'm sorry, that's not a legit question.
@sor -
'Recap' would point to 'past' revenues, when competition was ramping. This new piece of data states, "The list displays the mega-retailer's best-selling new and future releases."
'New' and 'future' would apply to earnings for Q3, Q4 and beyond.
Any (legit) questions?
