For the past few years, MH has been requiring that NA Sales employees must respond to the annual employee survey. It was mandatory and online. It was executed by a third party firm. The SVPs sent a couple of emails out about the importance of it. Again, they received a report about how many of the employees in their group completed the report. I remember the survey ask questions about "How many years have you been at Oracle?" "How would rate the trust worthiness of your manager?" etc. I now suspect they are using this information to gauge the morale of each group. I think they are using this information to target the groups for the RIFs.
