Since Starboard Value got involved with AAP, there have been two rounds of layoffs targeting the DC's, Operations and the Field. That was close to 100+ people I knew personally and have only worked at AAP for three years. Can you imagine someone who actually works across the company? I have also seen a few dozen in Corp just leave on their own with no backfill. You're just being dishonest to ignore all this and claim "fake news".

Starboard has quite the investment in AAP, and it won't make a return until the company is sold. Let the adults discuss if you can't; However, burying your head in the sand is how you get left behind.

Been ready for two months since this topic started...a big nothing burger! Watch out for all the fake news on this site...believe 1/3 of what you read from bored, attention starved, disgruntled posters!

Jeffrey Smith and Starboard are quickly losing credibility.

Jeffrey Smith didn't get rich by losing the amount of money he has lost with Advance since buying into it! So get ready because it's fixing to hit the fan. I can see it already at our store because the DM is now basically making the schedule out for the GM's and it isn't pretty. Not to mention he hasn't ever ran a store or sold an auto part. Customers service was awful last week not only for the DIY but for commercial customers too! All of them was complaining about delivery times.
