Is the shield still letting people have company trucks who dont deserve them? Im sure theyre using them for personal use on company dime, while the rest of you fools dont get a raise and have to use your own money for gas.

Heck with taking it hunting, I'm just going to go into the guiding business. I don't have to show up to the office anyway and my hands are getting the work done for us. Management doesn't know any better, heck - I'll take a couple of them on a hunt and get a bonus out of it. I love this place.

Waste has been cut, except for the managers responsible for doing the cutting. Better to RIF a field hand then risk your position or perks coming under the microscope to truly save the company money.
End of the day, this Co is far to much in debt to climb out it as they exist now. Pieces of this must be cut off and they still need to clean some of the management out.

Of course they are abusing the company policy and managers are looking the other way as they are "buddies" with each other. Easier to look the other way then do your job I suppose. Best are the "Managers" at SJP that do nothing more than drive to/from work - want to save some cash, take those trucks and allowances away (likely near 90k/mo, so over 1M a year).

I still pull my boat with my WFT co. truck and they even pay for the gas on the boat. All I have to do is makeup a customer to go fishing with and WFT pays for everything !

Most all vehicles now have GPS tracking systems in them. Still some folks that have them that likely should not, but much of the waste has been shut down. Now if you consider those on car allowance, that is an entirely different story.
