Welcome aboard, to ship ATT! Brave survivors, lost in the sea, aimless, unrecognized. From now on you are safe, good times will come.

Unfortunately, DXC inherited HPE's policy of zero transparency with workers...

It is happening, it is just a question of when. They keeping saying it will happen and then it gets delayed again. Mike is probably trying to get ATT to shoulder a bigger share than they want to. 2k-3k sounds a bit high unless they are packaging in other groups besides network.

The last contract iteration only included a 1 year commitment from ATT to keep these people as employees. My guess is Mike gets ATT to take the burden of the outsourcing so that he doesn't have to call it a layoff and then ATT ends up being the bad guys in one year for having to lay off these people.

All of the DXC network guys will move @OMvxHf2-1wcr, except for some management retained for service management.

It's exactly what CSC did some 5 years ago.

To anyone reading this from networks - take it if you can! ATT have pay rises and decent benefits, unlike DXC.

Has it been successful for CSC? Not really, everything becomes more difficult and bureaucratic, but hey Mikey gets a big payout so it must be good eh?

then its clear, those moving to ATT have saved their jobs while the ones still stuck in DXC likely the face the axe soon. If you are in Networking, try to secure yourself a job with ATT rather than working for DXC.

Rumor I heard is not all the networking people will be going to ATT. Some will continue to be DXC employees.

This sounds like a rerun of the MCI-WorldCom moves which failed badly and then the employees were welcomed back into the company. What a debacle.
