I'm hearing by April 2018 Mondelez will exiting dsd as well.
Every reset they've been doing we've been losing space not gaining.
Hopefully they'll give us some kind of severance like Kelloggs received...

Kind of a dumb question actually since we all are at different places in life. Happy to share though, I'm going to ride the wave in since I am eligible to retire. If I were not, I would be looking! Easier to find a job when you have one! Otherwise you settle for something you may not want. Does that help you?

I'm a Mondez rep married to a Frito Lay rep, trust me, we know!
You can't be a current rep for Mondelez if you don't know about Frito Lay.

Wishful thinking! This has been in the works for years, you just didn't know it! Wal Mart does not need our merchandised when they can pay their own people less and make more! Frito Lay is union and they bid on routes, etc! Much more difficult to dissolve, we are super easy and Mondelez has been preparing for a long time, this I know for a fact! Dream all you want but the power of DSD is NOT in merchandising, it is in selling! We have to up sell to make DSD exist! You are way off in your thinking! Way off!
It may very well be that it can take a year or 2 to completely dissolve DSD .Look at what Frito Lay is going to do.They are waiting on a vote.
Sale reps gone.Merchandisers will have hand helds to tweak the orders for oos.

Not sure where your located but here we have lost space! More space has been allocated to private label brands. Makes sense, retailers will focus on what is most profitable and it is not Nabisco!
