Should we be nervous oracle just asked many of us to update our home and work locations?

Many folks got this and also some who are new or who just moved positions.
I think this is normal
did people who have recently been laid off get this sort of email prior?
I think that there have been emails that are reminders once in a while to check your employee information and make sure it is up-to-date. I don't remember anything specific about addresses, though.

Been here years. I have never seen an automated request for these emails. Timing suspicious.
@ONwvc7b-wpz: automatic email from O workflow with subject line " Please Check Your HOME and WORK Location Setup for Accuracy" with your current home address & work location thats in the system and usual instructions on how to make changes
My entire group received the mail and we directly support cloud activities. I would be much more concerned if I did not receive the mail.

Looks like this wasn't a company wide email, it was sent to certain pool of employees. Cannot be more obvious than that, got one myself too

They want your current home address to mail you the layoff check.

NO, a lot of people have received these emails. All the way from services to god only knows. The jerk below is pulling your chain.

I got one this morning too, and its highly likely that this has to do with upcoming layoffs. They are probably working on final severance payout check

W ( Sun ) VP and Directors useless and still have jobs .. ..going to make Sun ( HW ) go down again .. writing on the walls...shameful and shameless management group .. totally ineffective
In a word, yes, you should be nervous. Have all the layoffs not already proven that?
I received the same email. A few weeks ago, I also received a message about an old, resolved expense report that was still showing as in-progress in the expense system. I'm in TK's org., working on Cloud products, but I'm still not feeling good about these things...
