Emails were received this morning.
I checked Minnesota web site for WARN notifications, for Honeywell Plymouth it says 162 layoffs. I don't think it could possibly be that high however. Does anyone know how many people are at that site?

8njg - I am not sure people can say they were accepted or received the email ...they might wink wink nod nod
RIF volunteers in Clearwater were supposed to receive an email stating whether their volunteer submittal was accepted. That has not gone out yet.
Aug 29
RIF day is next Tuesday. Sept 29.
Glendale Space Friday for some.
Glendale Space Friday for some.
Rumor is Tuesday will be D day here, aka tomorrow
just should sell off the space business and keep the flying stuff. space is a distraction and has little commonality with any other part of HON.
We Glendale got an email yesterday for exiting opportunities in RMUs in Phx and Tempe. This is second email on job opportunities in 2 weeks. I have the feeling when the RIF happens its going to be real ugly.
I think management just trying to cover themselves morally by saying they emailed us opportunities . None of those jobs we can't qualify for . Especially when they are for ME's and you are an EE. WTF ?
I escaped the place 4 months ago by moving over to Deer Valley, but I still have a lot of very worried friends over there. Best of luck to you guys, you deserve much better.
Each state has its own limits. Honeywell usually tries to magically reduce jobs just under the limit that has to be declared to the state. Google WARN ACT or rule plus your state. Many states are around 100 but size of company is sometimes also a factor
I haven't heard much other than it is going to be big for Space, in a negative way.
I hear HR and Leagal are completing their reviews right now and are planning to notify/RIF people during the week of Aug 28.
Depending on the number of layoffs per site, the 60 day notice may not apply. Could be any day now.
Site specific is the answer, trigger has already been pulled for some in Canada. Not sure 60 days applies there.
Heard lists were submitted 8/11 for legal review, and actions will happen in mid-Sept
Think companies have to give 60 days notice. Then try to time with payrol ending. So maybe last week of sept for it to happen?
Unless too big for HR and Legal to review.
So who knows for sure.
