september 1st week is the org change announcement in storage which will be followed by a layoff.

Based on trustworthy sources, there is no major layoff so far, less than 50 worldwide. Yall need to stop spreading this nonsense
N... F..... from MDC did an awesome job in cleaning up bad practices at NDC in 2014 and 2015. But it's still not good enough as some corrupt managers and directors have ties with consulting companies.
NDC laid off full time employees and still kept consultants at 120$/hr. Does anyone think and know of managers/directors cut on this. This should be exposed.
Dell has like 3 consultant level individual contributors getting orders from 10 VPs. Culling the people is inevitable. I know what you are thinking, you are wrong. Dell is cutting the 2 consultants and hiring 3 advisors so the 10 VPs has cheaper and more resources

Dell is stupid. Their current management population, structure and culture is 100% service oriented. S---s at sales, s---s at technology. And they decided to buy EMC then sell services while retaining their sick management.

As an EMC person we made two billion per year profit and distributed two more billion to shareholders (employees)....Dell lost half billion per year before they bought EMC...where is the money....Dell should have given Enterprise and commercial to EMC and focused on their laptops...too late now but at least I don't own Dell stock
All one has to do is to ask the sales guys their quota and what did they do the last half. They have a tool called score .

Strictly speaking Dell should not be any larger than 40-50K people. Having over 100K of workforce is ridiculous.
