It's all part of their G55 program to get down to a 55 % operating cost. This program is cutting everything to the bare minimum,employees, train inspections,crew rest,track repairs,car repairs and the public safety.I wonder what kind of bonuses they will give themselves next while the train crews ,and other crafts have been without a contract for several years now.When I went to work here 18 years ago their goal was a billion a year in profit.Now if its not two billion a quarter they're crying poverty

The big amount of upper management in Omaha sitting with 6 figure salary and very generous bonuses can in 10 years have a worth of several millions. And most only have to agree to carry the hatchet orders to the mass. Example of need to cut would be like they have over 25 general directors for IT alone in Omaha image that savings. The government is not the only broken thing in America.
